Knitting and crochet gauge ruler

This beautiful Knitting ruler is made from Finnish birch plywood and it is a handy tool for checking the density of knitting. The frame has a 10x10cm scale for measuring the density and also needle sizes for 0.7-15mm needles. The outer dimensions of the measuring frame are 14.5x14.5cm.

Using the measuring frame:

Knit a sample patch slightly larger than the measuring frame (10x10cm) and finish it (wet, dry flat) as usual. The measuring frame is placed on top of the patch and the number of stitches in the patch is counted horizontally and vertically.
