You can easily finish your knitted or crocheted patches with Kainor's Blocking Board!

The Blocking Board is made of Finnish birch plywood and it's a handy aid for finishing knitted or crocheted patches.

For example, blocking Granny squares or African Flowers into their shape can be done easily with the help of the board. Connecting the blocked patches to each other is easier and the work becomes neater.

The set includes a blocking board measuring 19.5 cm x 19.5 cm and 10 stainless steel rods, each 12 cm(4,72 inch) long. The rods are inserted from the top into the blocking board, where they stay securely in place in this 6 mm thick plywood base. Before first use, it’s recommended to wash the rods gently with water and a mild detergent to remove any residue from the manufacturing process.

The Board also includes a needle gauge for 2-6.5 mm needles and a measuring scale.

Tips for using the Blocking board:

Push the steel rods into the Board from the top, so that it is easy to add patches to the Board. You can block several patches at once. Wash or dampen the patches, straighten and shape. Let the patches dry stretched out to the Board.

Note! The holes in the Blocking Board are purposely made tight so that they don't loosen during use. Especially the first time, installing the steel rod in place can feel tight.
