Paper and cardboard have many different uses and are well suited for laser processing. Common uses are client gifts, packaging or architectural models. Thicker cardboard can also be cut, but the traces of the laser cut may remain visible.

What paper and cardboard can be used?
- Papers of different weights and thicknesses can be cut and often also engraved.
- Gray cardboard can be cut, marked and engraved quickly and accurately.
- White cardboard can be cut and engraved. In thick cartons, laser traces can be seen after the cut. This can be prevented by using a protective film.
- Corrugated cardboard can be cut and engraved. Often used in packaging.
- Most colored cardboard can be cut.
- Certain types of plastic coatings on paper or cardboard can be problematic.
